Positive is How I Live was created and founded by Positive T.A. Nelson, a man who exemplifies the word positive. When negativity began to seep into his life,  he chose the path of positivity which has enabled and empowered him to impact the lives of many. 

 

Positive, currently serves as the U.S. Virgin Islands Commissioner of Agriculture; Master Sensei at King Cobra Tae-Kwon-Do in St. Croix; cannabis and community advocate; as board member of various local organizations; a Personal Development Consultant; is a former seven term U.S.V.I Senator; and former educator. As a motivational speaker and educator, it is natural to find inspiration in his words and actions. During his tenure as an educator at St. Croix Complex High School, Positive was awarded "Student Choice Teacher of the Year" for a consecutive 10 years.

He is spiritually, culturally, and socially conscious.

 

He is a man who just wants the world to chillax.

 

He founded Positive Works, Inc., which focuses on providing charitable, educational, spiritual, scientific opportunities, and resources to the U.S. Virgin Island Youth. He also conducts annual events such as “Unity Retreat Camp” ('97-'17, serving over 1,000 children and families), Senior Citizen Brunch ('04-'19, serving over 2,000 seniors), and Emancipation Day: Fort to Fort Walk ('01-'21, over 15,000 participants). 

 

In 2011 Positive began developing land in Salt River, St. Croix, at first a personal endeavor to build a retreat and zen garden, but after severe damage from hurricanes Irma and Maria, decided Serenity’s Nest would be open to anyone who needs a safe healing space. Today, Serenity's Nest is a place of peace, a place to unwind and recharge. This peaceful slice of paradise is located just minutes from town and all the amenities, and yet feels like you're in a remote corner of the island of your own. Available for any number of corporate events, concerts, or gatherings.
